The College organized a Week of Gandhian thought from Oct.2,2011 to Oct.8,2011 The College organized a special week long program to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation. Besides conducting an exam devoted to Gandhian Thought under the auspices of the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Prof. J.N.Shinde delivered a talk on 'Life and struggle of Mahatma Gandhi'. Some of the students participated in the seminar on Gandhian thought. the Special Social Welfare Officer of the District of Nandurbar sponsored the Program. |

The Entrance test comprising of a written test for 50 marks and personal interview for the MSW course will be conducted on 11th day of July,2011 at 11 30 a.m. The merit based selection list will be declared on 12th July,2011 at 04 00 p.m. |

The College of Social Work organized annual meeting of the Alumni on 11th day of April,2011.More than 40 persons participated in the deliberations.Dr. (Prin.) A. S.Paithane who has very recently assumed office as Dean of the Mental Moral Social Sciences of the North Maharashtra University,Jalgaon,inaugurated the function and he explained the procedures and rules of the university and the UGC for the PhD.His account of his own career was a source of inspiration for the alumni.In the post lunch session Prof. Ashok Wagh talked on employment opportunities for the MSWs . The Principal and Chairman of the Syllabus Committee prof. R.M.Patil presented the draft syllabus for the Semester Pattern and invited suggestions from the alumni as to their expectations from the revision of the syllabus. Dr. P.V Ramiah, Principal of the Arts Science and Comm. college, Prof Sudhir Mali, Vice President of the Trust were the prominent personalities present on the occasion.
