As Prof. Ashok Wagh retired from services as Associate Professor and Actg. Principal of the Social Work College,the Governing Body appointed Shri Mali as Actg. Principal of the social work college.Accordingly, he assumed office from July 1,2016. Of late, it is worth to mention that he has played a crucial role in organizing a National conference on Contribution of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s contribution in nation building. A number of experts in educational field have congratulated Mr Mali for the new responsibilities. It is also to be noted that Mr. S.G. Mali has been the vice President of the Trust which runs Senior College of Arts,Comm.and Science and UG and PG college of social work
A one day national seminar has been organized on March 15,2016 at Taloda Dist. Nandurbar as a tribute to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar to commemorate his 125th birth anniversary.The seminar is sponsored by Social Justice Department of the Government of Maharashtra and the Arts and Commerce college Trust,Taloda and it is being organized by the college of social work in association with Arts, Commerce and science College,Taloda.The research papers are invited from academicians and followers of Dr.Ambedkar’s ideology. 28th day of February,2016 is the last date for submission of full paper to the College.The participation could be registered on 15th day of March,2016, the day of the seminar,with a nominal fee of Rs.300/-Dr. Bharatbhai Gohil of Bagasara,Gujrat, Dr.Kirtiraj of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, Dr. B.A. Deshmukh of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Dr.S.I. the Government of Maharashtra has decided to extend pension and Gratuity scheme to all the eligible employees of the social work colleges in the State recruited prior to 1 Nov.2005 and New pension scheme to those recruited after Nov. 1,2005. The most awaited decision was taken in the Cabinet Meeting held on 28th day of August,2014.The employees of 51 colleges of Social Work in the State have expressed satisfaction over the decision and requested the Chief Minister to release arrears due to them as per the sixth Pay Commission from 1 January,2006 immediately.
The College has declared Merit based selection list and Waiting List for admission to three year UG Program of BSW on college Notice Board. The same list has been sent to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
Similarly, Entrance Test for selecting candidates for Admission to PG Course of MSW is scheduled to be held on 16th day of July,2014.The selection will be made by taking care of reservation for various social categories as per Rules.The last date for submitting Application form will be 13th day of July,2014.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council,an autonomous Institution of the U.G.C,Bangalore has declared the result of the assessment exercise in respect of the institution to have been B Grade with CGP 2.10. Earlier in December 2013 a PEER TEAM consisting of Prof. T. Tirupati Rao, former Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad as Chairman, Dr. Johnson, Principal Sacred Heart College Kochi, Member and Dr.Pradeepsingh Choondavat of M.S. University, Baroda as Coordinator; assessed the Institution and interacted with all the stakeholders and submitted its report to the Institution and NAAC. NAAC Executive Committee approved the outcome of re-accreditation process and declared the institution as re-accredited for a period of five years with CGPA of 2.10 on a four point scale at B Grade valid from 21/02 2014. The President and Vice President along with many renowned personalities congratulated the Principal and the Staff of the College for their success.

It was headed by Prof. T.Tirupati Rao, Ex-Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad. Dr. Pradeepsingh Choondawat of M.S. University Baroda served as Member Coordinator.Dr. Johnson (Fr. Prasant) Palakkpillil was the third Team Member.The Team visited the College between 9th Dec. 2013 and 11th Dec. 2013 and thoroughly assessed the institution.The team interacted with the Governing Body,the teachers,the Students,the alumni and the Parents during the Assessment exercise. Prin.R. M. Patil,Chairman Shri Sudambhai Patel, Dy. chairman Mr. Sudhir Mali, coordinator Mr. Ashok Wagh participated in the process of re-accreditation.

The admission process for BSW Programme for the academic year of 2013-14 begins with personal interview on 24th day of June,2013.The selection list based on merit will be declared on 25th day of June,2013 at 11 -00 a.m. 30% of the total 40 seats will be offered to female students whereas, the other categories will be offered seats as per reservation rules.
