The process of admission to B.S.W and M.S.W courses affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon for the academic year of 2010-11 has commenced. The students seeking admission to three year integrate semester pattern B.S.W course will have to remain present for entrance test to be conducted on 21st day of June, 2010 ; similarly, those seeking admission to M.S.W course will appear for entrance test on 8th day of July 2010. The selection committee constituted for lecturers post is scheduled to meet on 25th of June 2010 at 12 00 p.m The interview calls are already sent by registered post. |

The birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was celebrated on 14th day of April,2010 by the staff and students of both the Colleges in Taloda. They participated in a novel activity of reading continuously for more than 14 hours. Eleven students were rewarded for longest period of reading. Prof. J.N Shinde addressed the participants.Prof.Sudhir Mali, Prof. Ashok Wagh and Prof R.M.Patil led the function. |

A two days workshop on restructuring of syllabus -- The College has organised a two days workshop on restructuring of Syllabus of the BSW and MSW courses on twentieth and twenty first day of February,2010. It will be inaugurated by Prin.Dr. D.L.Torawane, Dean,Faculty of Mental.Moral and Social Sciences,North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.The Principals of the affiliated colleges of social work along with sub committee members and faculty members will participate in the workshop.The Semester system is underway for the social work courses and would be implemented from June 2010. The North Maharashtra University has sponsored the workshop. |

The Management of the College has already decided to opt for NAAC Re-accreditation before December 2010. The process of filling up the vacant posts has also been initiated. |

The second year students of the M.S.W course are on a tour to places like Pune and Goa Prof Ashok Wagh and Prof Rane Aravind are leading 53 students of the college as they visit various agencies and community projects - such as Ralegan Siddhi in Ahmednagar District. It is reported that the agencies visited included SOS Village ,Yashada, Tribal Research Institute Puneetc. |
